My Story
Our adventure with Scentsy started with my wife, Hannah, buying some Scentsy to make our home smell wonderful. I had just had a near tragic car accident and was wondering more about the product and what it would be like to sell Scentsy for myself? After a short conversation with the person who became our sponsor, I signed us up before my wife could even get home from school that day. This started our journey on September 29, 2012.
However, we discovered in Feburary 2014, we were doing it for the wrong reasons! During one of the talks at World Tour 2014, we had an AHA moment! Actually, I have to admit it was me that had the moment and she confirmed in on the ride home later the next day!
When we first joined the Scentsy family, we did so because I had lost my job due to a car accident and wanted to pay bills and help with the household income; however, that is not what I was called to do with my life. So, in the middle of a session with Jen Audette, a marvelous SuperStar Director from Auburn, ME, I realized that we need to get back to the basics of the Scentsy business model which are Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity. I also realized that I want to motivate people to become part of the awesome Scentsy Family. I also realized that Scentsy can be a way to get them out of their comfort zone, and help them to be the person that they are intended to be.
The perfect example of this is my wife who before Scentsy would not talk to anyone she did not know, but now goes to fairs and talks to anyone that approaches the table. She talks to people about the difference $99 can make in your life and what it has done to stretch her to become a better person, wife, and mother.
We are each called to be a person who is simplistic in nature but yearns for something greater in life. We are called to be authentic in character and to be ourselves in everything that we do rather it is in our business or in our everyday life. Finally, we are to be generous with our time and our money by giving all we have. These are three very things that I live my life by and want to help people see that with Scentsy you can give yourself the freedom to do it each and everyday of your life.
You can be your own boss, make your own hours, and give yourself freedom to make choices you might of never been able to make if you were doing something else.

Our Family
Hannah and I have been married since July of 1998 and have three wonderful children. We also have 3 Shiba Inu dogs, who in their own minds think they own every inch of our house.
